So you're wondering why I'm doing this blog...
One of my friends has two very young children with one on the way, and I had been telling her about all the stuff she can do (there's a free carnival this Saturday at *this location* and other things like that). She said,
"Why not make a blog and let everyone know about this stuff?"
That really clicked with me, so here I am!
So...about me: I'm a deaf mom of a 3 year old daughter, and happily married to a wonderful guy who is also deaf. I work a full-time job, so I don't always have the time I wish I had with my daughter. We like to do things that are fun but doesn't cost us money (or cost very little). I believe in having a lot of fun with my daughter, and I'm sure a lot of mommies feel that way.
I also LOVE to save money...so I always look for awesome deals, but I will post what is local. So if you know of anything, PLEASE do let me know. Email me at deafmomingrandlake@gmail.com if you have some information that will be of some use to mommies in the Grand Lake area! :)
